completely fabulous! See ya later!!!!!
Kim Lillpop! She was chosen as the winner for the Adornit - Carolee's Creations contest at amillionmemories.com. I LOVe this layout using our new Love Collection and all the goodies she used from our sticker books. Congratulations Kim!
until we head out for California! The booth was picked up (huge weight off our shoulders) and now we're left with last minute details like samples showing up, paper samples coming off the press, catalogs being shipped, etc. Our printer had a part go out on their huge press last week that set them back and I'm sure a lot of other scrapbook companies. We still don't have our catalogs - they're going to ship them to the hotel. And a few paper samples so we ran print outs of those at Staples. Sometimes stuff like that happens and all you can do is roll with the flow. Next week I will share some sneak peeks with you before we leave. Yesterday my hubby took me shopping so we could buy me some maternity clothes for the show. I don't own one pair of maternity pants that aren't jeans. Today I'm going to get my hair cut. I can't believe it, but I haven't cut my hair since the Chicago Tradeshow. Isn't that awful that I haven't taken the time to have a trim? Anywhoo... lots to do - a house to clean and sneak peeks to show.
Debbie and I had so much fun last weekend at Christy's. It was so nice for me to get away and just scrapbook. Even better, I just got to copy the classes Christy had and I didn't have to do a thing. HEre are pictures of the projects we made. I would go into a lot more detail but I have LOTS to do for the CHA show. We're feeling overwhelmed and the booth has to be finished TOMORROW!!!!
After this blog entry we only have 1 MORE WEEK to go until CHA!!! HOw
exciting is that?! I can't tell you how excited I am... but maybe you've guessed
it by now! Today I get to talk about the album set. The album set has been
ordered and we just got the preview for it yesterday. It looks KILLER! It's so
funny when you sit down to create something, you spend hours upon hours making
it just right, then you just sit and wait, and to see the finished
product....... it's completely surreal. You've seen it on your computer screen
and you may have printed it out on your computer, but nothing beats the feeling
and moment when you see YOUR product in "official" wrapping and your name on it.
And they always look so much better in real life than they do on a screen. So,
here's the preview of the album and a few pages on the inside.
Aren't they fab?!
As a reminder, It comes with the album, 24 papers, two 12x12 sheets of diecuts,
and one 12x12 sheet of stickers, 14 page protectors. That's over 280 pieces! So it's a great deal,
perfect for those of you who just want something that doesn't take a lot of
thought. I love how it turned out, I really hope you do too! i love how
versatile it is. You can use it for a baby, a wedding, girl, cousins, family,
etc. Can't get any better than that right? And to make things even better, 4 of
the papers in the album will be available open stock! That means that those 4
papers will be available for purchase separately. The colors are so nice, soft
colors and different kinds of flowers. I've seen a LO made with my papers and it
is so cool! Once I get the product myself, I'll be posting LO's and projects on
my own blog for ideas. Thanks so much for everyone's support! Next week's the
final week........see ya then! -Amber
