thanks for all your help the other day with online fabric shops. i have several patterns added to my wishlist. we live in a very small town and our local grocery store is probably 1/3 of the size of a regular grocery store. anyway they have a fabric section which always has a really great selection. i found these cute vintage prints made by moda. i love the color combo.

so can you guess what i'm making???
this afternoon we were just relaxing around the house and boston was jumping around the living room playing. i was busy checking email and adding some new stuff to my etsy shop. he comes and lays down by me and with an exasperated sigh says "i just went skydiving and it was AMAZING." I just started laughing. His Aunt Lisa is currently going to school at BYU Hawaii and recently went skydiving. He must have heard us talking about it and decided he wanted to give it a try. Gotta love 3 year olds!
amy oatis at big picture scrapbooking just revealed teachers with new classes coming soon. take a look.
remember my post a while back about our new launch? well, we have the date scheduled and if all goes as planned the big day will be April 2nd! Stay tuned for more info as the day comes closer.
And, let's see what going on in my life. Happy days - Daxton is 10 months old and I think it is my favorite so far (not meaning that I don't love every minute with him, this so far is the most enjoyable). He is so happy and his little smile just melts my heart. He is soooo busy. He crawls and walks along furniture and I love that he is starting to crawl and find toys to play with. He loves the bathroom - loves to get in the tub with his big brother. And the bathroom doors stay permanently closed because he loves getting in the cupboards, pulling down the tub toys, spinning all the toilet paper off the roll (and eating it at the same time), oh and don't forget the fun sound the toilet makes when you flush it. I love that he is so active but it does keep me on my toes. SO FUN!
Easter went well. My little brother Ross stayed with us while my parents were gone. I love it when he stays with us and Boston just loves his Uncle. We had two Easter egg hunts. One with the city and Boston only got five eggs. He was so sad and tells everyone that he didn't get very many. He even told Aunt Melissa "I"M ORNERY!". A little later Grandma Minnie had an Easter egg hunt for Boston and Ross and hid 62 eggs for the two of them. Boston had no more room to complain LOL. As far as pictures go I tried so hard but I did not get one good picture of my kids. Here's them looking at the loot on Grandma's front yard.

Then, I wanted a picture of them together, smiling so happy at the camera with Dax on Boston's lap. That didn't happen because Boston just wrestled him over. The joy of boys.

So that about wraps things up. Good news - we have our new product going on the website Monday so you can look forward to lots of fun projects in the gallery very soon - yay!

Yep, that's right - after lots and lots and lots of thoughts I finally took the plunge and opened up my own Etsy shop. So, if you don't have the time to make our great wood decor items yourself you can purchase them already made from me on my Georgie Girl Crafts shop. If you would like to stay updated every time I add something new please email me georganahall@yahoo.com.
Here we are, the last week in our Classic Photo Challenge.

It's time to decorate your album to and make it part of you - your classic. I used our exclusive album from the Classic Kit. I chose a classic chocolate brown paint and embellished with ribbon. Can't wait to see your albums!

i'm working on mother's day presents and need some really cute fabric (trendy, bright, and cotton). do you have any favorite fabric shops online? i'd love some help.
If you’re a beginner, I think you’ll really like Georgana’s classic challenge. Scrapping can be overwhelming if you don’t have a focus – there’s so much to scrap. This challenge will help you focus on a small slice of life, with photos to define it. It won’t be hard to go through your photos and find the classics.
For my layout, I quickly went through a bunch of photo albums and found some extra-special pictures that brought back classic memories. It was an hour of smiling as I reviewed some of my favorite photos. Because I’m a ‘word person,’ I also thought of some of the classic quotes and sayings from my life. I decided to make my first classic layout about a quote that our family had on the wall by our phone when our kids were teenagers. I put classic photos of my daughter Becky in the layout, because she grew up reading that quote every day…and it worked! The quote reads: “I am determined to be happy in whatever situation I may be – for I have learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions and not our circumstances.” The picture shows the quote on the wall and a happy Becky.
Happy weekend everyone! So this week is going to be catch up (well for me at least). The boys have both been sick so I didn't get much scrapping time in. If you've already finished pages using your tags go ahead and finish scrapping the rest of the Classic Pictures you've chosen. Be sure you include your journaling. Next week we're going to finish up our albums by altering our album covers. Have a great, creative weekend! And be sure to check out LNKLADY's Gallery, she uploaded her pages using tags - GREAT JOB!
