Day #3 with Sherelle...

KATE
There is nothing cuter than a chubby little baby in a swim suit! These are some of my favorite photos of my little Kate last summer. The older kids were running through the sprinklers, and she was happy sitting in the grass and watching all of the excitement. I love color photos, and I love BRIGHT photos that pop, and Carolee's has no shortage of beatuiful bright products to coordinate with my vivid photos!

Day 2 with Sherelle...

Ride_2

Last spring, we finally bought a little four-wheeler for our son. He is 100% boy. Since we live on a farm, there is plenty of space for him to ride around. Sometimes...this can be scary! Within the first 5 minutes of his very first ride, he hit a fence and went over the handle bars into the canal (luckily it was early enough in spring, that there was no water in it yet!). I think it taught him a quick lesson. We adjusted the throttle so that it can only reach a certain speed, and now, he loves to ride it everywhere. I was so excited when I first saw the dirt track collection from Carolee's Creations! The products fit perfect with all of the fun photos I have of Russell on his four wheeler!

Paper: Fear Factor Bullseye, Four Wheeler Adventure

Sherelle Christensen...

I am so excited about our Guest Blogger this week! She is very inspirational and the fun part she paper scraps and digi scraps! Her photography is beautiful and her blog is always a regular one I read. Here's Sherelle...
Sherelleheadshot

Hello! My name is Sherelle Christensen, and I am a 28 year old stay-at-home mother of four children. The impressive thing about these four children, is that they were all born in a five year time period. My two youngest daughters are Irish Twins (which means they are less than one year apart). So as you can imagine, my life is CRAZY and stressful, but a lot of fun. My family is my pride and joy. I am married to my best friend, David, who is a farmer. We grow potatoes and grain, and we LOVE the lifestyle that farming provides for us. There is no better place to raise children than on a farm. We enjoy camping, fishing, working in the yard, road trips and spending time together. When I'm not busy wrangling children or working around the house and yard, I enjoy photography, sewing, art and of course, scrapbooking! I have been lucky enough to turn this hobby into a job that I am able to do from home. I serve on several amazing design teams, and I was also a member of the Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame in 2006. I enjoy the creative outlet, but most of all, I enjoy getting memories recorded for my children. I am so excited to be working with some of the beautiful products at Carolee's Creations. I have always been a fan of their products, and I had so much fun creating items for the blog! If you want to find out more about me, my family and my scrapbooking, please visit my BLOG.

Sticker Paper Idea #3

Ewmom
Isn't this layout just precious? I love the way Eileen cut apart the patterned papers and layered the ribbon on top. It's just stunning. Can you point out the sticker paper? It's the cute coral polka dots that she used with a paper punch.

Don't forget about the Sticker Paper Contest, time is running out.

weekend recap...

first off, thanks for your comments and ideas. it helps!

we had a super busy weekend. i usually like to keep my weekends really low key since my week days are so busy and hectic. i even took lots of fun photos, about 100 all together. but, i guess some of them don't count because boston or dax aren't looking at the camera in over half of them.
1. we went with my best friend and her kids to baby animal day.
Wagonwheel
Haydenandboss
2. then we came home and received a phone call from my mom. my brother don is a plumbing apprentice and had a really freak accident at work. it was one of those day-to-day jobs that went wrong. he was testing a water line to check for leaks. he had the pipe pumped up to 100 lbs of pressure and the cap on the pipe exploded off hitting him in the chin. it put about a one inch hole in his chin and knocked his front tooth to the roof of his mouth. they said if it would have hit anywhere else on his head it would have killed him. they ended up pulling out both of his front teeth and doing a bone graph. the poor guy is in a lot of pain but we're lucky to have him with us. if it was to happen he got the best end of the deal.
3. we went to kevin's baseball game and i'm happy to say i got a little sun on my nose - yeah!

Dax
4. we went to a baptism and mission farewell
5. the weekend was topped off when roy and melissa came over for a visit. roy took the boys for a bike ride.

give me your comment...

Hello again! So, I would love some blog INSPIRATION - I want to hear some feedback from all of you. What types of things would you like to see me post about? Sometimes I feel pretty boring. Do any of you have questions that you'd like answered?

Aren't these pictures fun?? I took them the other weekend at the elementary school. To give them much more contrast I edited them in Photoshop. I duplicated the photo layer and then went to the menu on the layers palette. Click on Hard Light. It gives great depth and contrast to pictures.
So - can you believe it snowed today?? During our design meeting today my mom said that she was ready for spring but winter just keeps going, and going, and going... It's the truth. Supposedly this weekend will be really nice, that's what I'm hoping.
Okie Dokie - can't wait to hear from you!

Sticker Paper Idea #2

Ewseventeendouble
Our Sticker Paper makes projects so quick and easy! Eileen cut stars out of the sticker and then used her alphabet punches to create the title. Great job Eileen!
