This past weekend was the county fair and Daxton and Boston participated in their first horse show. This was particularly exciting for me because I love horses and grew up showing horses with my family. My Dad mentioned that the boys were old enough this year so I jumped at the chance. I couldn't wait to get the boys belt buckles, cowboy boots, wranglers, and of course a cowboy hat. Daxton participated in Lead Line. That's where he sits on top of the horse and I lead him around the arena, no one is judged because they are still too small. I signed Boston up for Walk & Trot. My dad patiently worked with him the past few weeks teaching him how to ride the horse all by himself. He did wonderful!!! He placed fourth which made him so excited! It was really fun and made me one proud Mamma.
