blogger here! To kick off my week of guest bloggin, I thought I would
share a layout from yester-year. When Carolee and I were exchanging a few
Facebook emails, I couldn't help but feel very nostalgic. You see,
one of my most precious layouts was created with Adornit - Carolee's Creations
products. To this day, I still have a few sheets in my stash from this
collection because they have a timeless quality and classic look to them.
As an end consumer of scrapbooking products, I often wondered about the people
behind their names and their brands. Never in a million year did I think
I would today, be in a position to peak behind the curtain a little bit.
Never did I think that I would one day meet (at least virtually) Carolee and
chat with her on Facebook. It's so very difficult to encapsulate that
feeling of ... "you made the product that I used on my project that is now
a keepsake in my house and holds a special place in my heart." So
here it is that layout from five years ago. It is a beloved photo of my
First Born, the story of her name. It always evokes a rare
moment of soft tenderness that doesn't come often to this mother :)
