I am smitten with the Pink Hoot collection! It is the perfect blend of pinks, blues and browns - some of my favorite colors to scrap. The little owl motifs are adorable too. What a fun collection to scrap a seven year old little lady like mine. For this project, I wanted to keep the layout simple so that the two 4x6 photos would really stand out. To accomplish this, I chose to use the patterned paper on the edges of my brown cardstock and then used the Who's Cute Stickers to embellish in a simple but effective way.
I inked the edges of the square LOVE stickers and then pop-dotted them to make them stand out on the page more. I love the round border stickers and used them to tie together the bottom of my page with a simple flower as embellishment. The scallops are also border stickers from the Who's Cute cardstock sticker sheet.
I used a 1 1/2 circle punch to cut the hole in my photo that surrounds the round cardstock sticker that goes with both the LOVE title and the Look Who's Cute Sticker. The simplicity makes the sentiment really stand out and adds interest to the photo and layout.
It wouldn't be right if I did not leave you with a sketch to try out with your own choice of Adornit products. I think this one has a lot of versatility and potential and hope that it inspires a few of you. I'll be back tomorrow with another project to share.
