right now I am enjoying the quiet signs in my house - naptime! It was a fight, but they are finally both asleep. Boston is getting harder to take naps but it just makes the day go much smoother when he does. Today is my day off so I was really excited to have the entire day to spend with the boys. I have had such a busy week that I really felt like I hadn't been able to spend some "quality" time with them. Well, I have already mopped my kitchen floor THREE times and it's only 2:00 in the afternoon. First, it was just a bit dirty so I thought I would get it clean after breakfast, then a bit later Dax thought it would be fun to dump his juice everywhere, and then the last time I mopped it was when we were decorating a gingerbread house and there were just too many hands and my really nice glass bowl (full of icing) was pushed off the counter onto the tile floor. I had glass and icing everywhere!! So I had to hurry and send the boys to their room to play so that I could clean all the glass up. At first I wanted to be mad but then I quickly stopped myself - realizing it's not that big of a deal. I got everything cleaned up and had the boys come back out and finish the haunted house. So, these pictures just make me laugh because you would never guess by just looking at them it was such an eventful morning. The picture with Daxton I could not get him to smile - he just kept picking off the candy and shoving it in his mouth! So, anyway now you know why I'm so glad my house is quiet - well for a few hours.
Also, if you're local you need to stop by this boutique. It's soooooo much fun! I went to the draper boutique last weekend. This weekend we have some of our fun products at the boutique. I will have to share that another day though. I've got to catch up on some work while I have a quiet house. Have a fantastic weekend!!!
