ha ha get it?! I know it's late, but I thought I would do a little show and tell, or like my title says, "Quilt" & Tell. I've had so much fun at work lately sewing with all our delicious fabrics. This is quilt one of my very favorites, it's from our Chamberry collection. A few months ago I would have said I despised it. This is the most intricate quilts I have ever pieced. I am very much a hurry and slap it together kind of sewer, so this quilt took several weeks to piece. I never spend that much time on a project.
And because I love the texture of those flowers, here's a close up...
I love having frayed edges on my applique because when they wash they will fray and look even more lovely and vintagey (is that a word?)
It wasn't a difficult quilt, I kinda made it sounds like that. Just took some time, but definatley worth it! You can find this fabric and the Chamberry pattern book (with this quilt pattern) at your locat quilt shop or on www.adornit.com. Happy Sewing!
