I adore this photo of my daughter, which was
actually taken by my sister - must give credit where credit is due.
They were having a pretend tea party on our porch and my sister was
snapping away and captured this moment. I love how the black and white
photo looks with the Vintage Groove collection since it is grounded in
black and of course my favorite - RED. Aren't the colors just
decadent??? Again, I wanted to keep the layout simple with the focus on
the photo of my daughter. I added a sticker border strip, a journal
spot and a simple flower for embellishment.
I
had forgotten that I had these American Crafts polka dotted Thickers.
Aren't they perfect for these papers? I have to admit that I ran out of
room for the title I wanted to use, so I opted to tilt the 'M' and
ended up with this. I kinda like it. I also added some burlap buttons
for extra interest as a unique embellishment.
The
journaling reads, "Sometimes all it takes is a little bit of time, a
little bit of tea, and a lot of love." Isn't it wonderful when you find
the absolute perfect papers to scrap such a special moment in time?
Thank you again for stopping by. I'll be back tomorrow with some cards...
